Description
June Park is tired of being known as the girl whose big ideas cause big problems. Milo fixes things before asking. Talia can turn a rumor into breaking news. And Owen trusts his notebook more than the people standing right in front of him. None of them is a bad kid—but all four could use a fresh start.
So they form the Almost-Good Adventure Club and choose a mission: help Maplehook recover supplies for its Riverlight Festival. It sounds like the perfect chance to become local heroes. There is just one problem. The organizers keep telling them to check the facts, ask permission, and listen. The club keeps finding more exciting ways to skip those steps.
Soon a misunderstood photograph, a confusing supply map, and a too-confident announcement leave the friends with a mess they cannot solve by making an even bigger splash. To make things right, each member will have to admit a mistake, use a different strength, and discover what the town actually needs.
Funny, warm, and full of fourth-grade energy, The Almost-Good Adventure Club is a standalone story about friendship, second chances, and the small choices that make people trustworthy.
