Refund & Digital Purchases Policy
Rules for direct digital purchases and access.
eBooks
For eBooks purchased directly from NovelThunder.com, a routine refund request may be made within 7 calendar days if less than 20% of the purchased edition has been consumed in the Novel Thunder Reader. Novel Thunder may deny routine refunds after substantial consumption, repeated refund behavior, fraud, chargeback abuse, or other misuse. Rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
How Reading Consumption Is Measured
For refund eligibility, Novel Thunder may use the furthest validated reading position reached in the purchased edition. Returning to an earlier chapter, rereading, changing font size, changing layout, or reopening the book does not reduce the recorded consumption level. Free preview activity is not treated as consumption of a purchased copy.
Audiobooks
When audiobooks are offered, a routine direct-purchase refund request may be made within 7 calendar days if less than 20% of the purchased audiobook has been listened to. Listening measurement may use the furthest validated listening position or equivalent completion metric.
Refund Effects
When a digital purchase is refunded, reversed, or charged back, the related permanent-purchase entitlement may be removed. A refund does not remove a separate entitlement the customer independently holds, such as valid subscription access to the same title.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions may be canceled before the next renewal. Cancellation normally leaves access active through the already-paid billing period. Routine partial-period refunds are not provided, except where required by law or where Novel Thunder determines that a duplicate charge, billing error, or unresolved technical failure warrants a remedy.
Technical Problems & Duplicate Charges
If you were charged twice, received the wrong entitlement, or cannot access purchased content after reasonable troubleshooting, contact [email protected]. Novel Thunder may provide a technical remedy, replacement entitlement, account credit, or refund as appropriate.
Third-Party Purchases
Purchases made through Apple, Google, Amazon, or another outside storefront may be governed by that storefront’s refund process, and Novel Thunder may not have authority to issue the refund directly.
