Sylvie Northam writes traditional mysteries for readers who love a well-placed clue, a convincing alibi, and the quiet satisfaction of discovering the truth. Her series, The Wrenbridge Mysteries, follows Nell and Owen Mercer, a brother-and-sister investigative team whose work at a small-town newspaper draws them into disappearances, thefts, and murders around a picturesque Michigan lakeside community.
Northam’s stories pair the pace and curiosity of classic detective adventures with carefully constructed, fair-play puzzles. Every case brings new suspects, distinctive settings, and a solution readers can piece together for themselves—if they look closely enough.
The Passenger in Seat Twelve launches The Wrenbridge Mysteries, followed by The Glass Cabinet and The Final Curtain Call.
