Evelyn Marlowe writes atmospheric murder mysteries where everyone has something to hide, trust is easily broken, and the smallest details can reveal the darkest truths.
With a passion for intricate puzzles, morally complex characters, and the secrets that bind families and communities together, Marlowe crafts stories that invite readers to become detectives themselves. Her mysteries blend the timeless appeal of classic whodunits with contemporary storytelling, delivering compelling suspects, carefully placed clues, and revelations that challenge everything readers thought they knew.
Her debut mystery book, The Things We Buried, introduces readers to a seemingly peaceful town, a wealthy family’s buried secrets, and a murder that exposes the dangerous consequences of loyalty, betrayal, and misplaced trust.
For Evelyn Marlowe, the most fascinating mysteries aren’t simply about who committed the crime. They’re about the choices that led someone to believe murder was their only way out.
