R. J. Hollister writes fast-paced crime fiction, police procedurals, and psychological mysteries built around impossible cases, buried motives, and investigators who know the truth is rarely where the evidence first points.
His work focuses on tightly constructed investigations, morally complicated suspects, institutional secrets, and recurring detectives readers can follow from case to case. He is the author of The Dorchester Cases, a series of complete, stand-alone homicide investigations featuring detectives Jack Dorchester and Simone Avery.
Hollister’s stories are designed for readers who enjoy sharp dialogue, escalating twists, procedural detail, and mysteries that can be finished in a single sitting without sacrificing the depth and payoff of a full crime novel.
